Harry Francis Campbell

Harry Francis Campbell, 83 passed away peacefully on April 29, 2012 in his newfound home at Emerson Village in Watertown, MA surrounded by his family. Mr. Campbell was born on February 26, 1929 in Boston Massachusetts. He was a graduate of University of New Hampshire and was an electrical engineer at Dennison Manufacturing and managed his own consulting firm for many years. He was a longtime member of IBEW local 490. Mr. Campbell spent a short time in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. During his retirement, Mr. Campbell was a proud member of the Newburyport community and the Newburyport Library was one of his favorite spots. In his final years, his favorite hobby was cheerfully tormenting the nurses in charge of his care.

Survivors include his siblings Michael Campbell of Arlington, VA, Jane Campbell Seaward of Framingham, MA, and Lianne Campbell of Natick MA; his son, Ian David Campbell and his daughter in law Janet Campbell and granddaughter Jillian Campbell of Wellesley, MA, and his son Jeremy Seth Campbell of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Saturday May 5th from 10:00 a.m. until noon with a Funeral Service following at the Twomey LeBlanc & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA. 01950. Burial will follow the services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newburyport.
